A) Advisory Circular (AC) No. 901-002Subject: Guidance on Manual Development for Remotely Piloted Aircraft System Operator Certificate (RPOC) Holders
B) ISO 23665 - This is the  primary ISO standard for UAV (unmanned aircraft systems) training which specifies procedures for training personnel involved in UAS operations.
C) ISO 21383-3 Operational Procedures: This complements the training standard by defining how you fly. It covers safety management, flight planning, and risk assessment methodologies.
 
Starting on November 4, 2025 Transport Canada requires Individuals, businesses, and organizations, that want to conduct lower-risk BVLOS operations or Level 1 Complex Operations to have or be affiliated  with a RPAS Operator Certificate (RPOC), issued by Transport Canada.
