From Cockpit to Console: A Legacy of Aviation Excellence

KR Droneworks is a professional RPAS Flight Centre dedicated to forging the next generation of elite drone pilots. Our foundation is built on 34 years of distinguished service as a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) pilot and Flight Safety Officer, bringing a culture of discipline, precision, and unwavering commitment to safety to the civilian drone industry.

Our journey began with a simple observation. While attending an Advanced RPAS course, our founder noticed that many passionate new pilots—several of them fellow military veterans—had the vision to start commercial drone ventures but lacked the business roadmap and operational discipline to succeed. Furthermore, the industry-standard aircraft checklists were alarmingly insufficient, posing a direct risk to flight safety.

This identified a critical mission: to bridge the gap between passion and profession. Initially, KR Droneworks focused on providing high-quality mentoring and developing air force-calibre operational checklists, complete with non-critical and critical emergency procedures, to help new businesses get off the ground on the right foot.

This commitment to operational readiness has naturally evolved. Today, KR Droneworks has expanded into a premier Drone Flight School. We specialize in delivering hands-on, practical flight training for Level 1 Complex Operations Ground School graduates. Our curriculum is specifically designed to prepare you for the rigours of your Flight Review, transforming theoretical knowledge into real-world piloting skill.
